I have reached seven months, plus a few days of this challenge and I’m still feeling good about it. I’ve spent just under €200 over the 7 months on necessary clothes and a face cream. The clothes I purchased were to replace 3 items that went into the clothes recycle bin and the cream was to replace an empty bottle of my everyday face cream. I calculate, based on previous years, that I have saved €2,300 over the seven months. That should be nearly doubled by the end of my challenge! This is a nice lump sum towards holidays, a car upgrade, or a home improvement! The added beauty of this, is that I have thoroughly enjoyed NOT shopping!
